National day wanders

Today in Singapore it was Singapore’s birthday so we all got a holiday. I woke up early to go walk along the green corridoor. I love the bits where the tracks are still there. The path itself seems to be systematically being paved which is a bit of a pity as it was already very flat and walkable but retained a bit of the untouched…

I stopped by the botanic gardens for a hour as i had finished early and spotted the resident black swans. I first saw them about 10 or 12 years ago but missed them in the subsequent visits. They seem more docile than the Irish ones or it’s just the heat.

We then went to a Korean vegetarian place for lunch… I think I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures.

After lunch we decided to go to Haw par villa…. that place gets weirder with each visit.
