Colonial History – City Hall

Today in Singapore I walked around some of the buildings built during the colonial period. The fire station which is still an active one, the police station which now house the ministries of communication and culture and the old parliament which started life as a private residence then courthouse, parliament and is now the arts house. As they are conserved structures they’ve maintained some their original structures even when the functions have changed.
