Wierd and wonderful – Sisters Island

Today in Singapore I got off work a bit early, joined a bunch of people on a boat to Sisters Island. We were welcomed by a family of monkeys and then set off towards the lagoon. The walk guided by Nparks was held during the low tide so we were able to see a lot of marine life that are usually underwater. We spotted hard and soft coral, anemones (and shrimp feeding on them), lots of hermit crabs, moon snails, star fish, conch, seacucumber and lots of other things whose names I’ve forgotten in the little pools and shallow waters. Was one of the most interesting evenings I’ve had!
