Touristing – San Francisco

Today in San Francisco I got a cheeky morning off to explore the city.  I kind of wanted to explore the city on foot and maybe get to see a few of the bits I didn’t go by several years ago. I took the BART into town and meandered through downtown and Chinatown. I found myself near the cable car museum and got to see the inner workings of the famous cable cars in this town.

A ride on one of them was called for and cause it was crowded I got to go on the outside and it was a nice feeling of riding a slow rollercoaster.

I then wandered along the piers poking into the ships there and also a vintage arcade game museum till I found myself at Pier 39 and the sea lions. There was a rocket boat leaving around then so hopped onto that and took a spin around the bay and the bay bridge. It was a fun ride and we got totally soaked so I’m counting that as swimming in the Pacific Ocean! It was then time to head home so I just reversed my steps back to Fremont. It was a fun adventure!
