Bad Friday – Carpenterstown

Today in Dublin while visiting the local shop I was reminded that in modern Ireland it’s not possible to buy alcohol on Good Friday.

The amount of people I know that will spend the day drunk in defiance of a law that has out stayed its welcome is staggering – just like them.

People always what the things they can’t have. There is something intriguing about what is forbidden.

No meat, no booze means for one day no fun? Or just another day in my world.

The typo amused me – Dr Freud will see you now!!
